Saturday 9 AM Sitting – In person at West Park

A chance to sit, socially and safely distanced outdoors, with others. Please come for a half hour meditation followed by small group sharing. WHEN: Saturday, August 22, 9:00 - 10:00 am. WHERE: West Park by the bandshell; park on Seventh Street side of West Park. BRING: Whatever you need to sit outside comfortably. Chair or cushion, hat, appropriate clothing for the weather. In this circle we will begin each session by sitting for 30 minutes. Following the sitting, we will begin a close reading together of a chapter in Coming to Our Senses; Healing Ourselves and the World Through Mindfulness, by Jon Kabat-Zinn.
