Refuge Recovery (12 step) group in Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti
This is similar to a 12-step group but open to people with any type of addiction. The meetings include meditation and are based on the Four Noble Truths, the Eightfold Path and other Buddhist principles. It was started by Noah Levine (son of Stephen Levine) and is a national organization, found at http://www.refugerecovery.org. The program is based on a book by Noah Levine entitled “Refuge Recovery”.
