A retreat is a time to both “take a break” from your normal daily activities and also be able to take a closer look at your life and practice. Please join us for the Spring retreat at beautiful lakeside DeSales Retreat Center in Brooklyn, MI.
A foundation of any spiritual path is holding ourselves with love, compassion, and forgiveness – with an open heart. Keeping ourselves inside our circle of compassion, with acceptance allows healing in the world as well. This quality is especially powerful to offer during times of uncertainty, fear, and loss. Rather than shrinking from times of difficulty, this is what we took birth for – creating safety by holding our own and others’ humanity in both hands. This is sangha, refuge, for ourselves and others.

The retreat will be led by Susan Weir. Susan is a resident teacher at Insight Meditation Ann Arbor, who has been teaching Vipassana meditation and retreats for over 20 years.
