This is a challenging summer. Feelings of anxiety, dismay and separation can leave us feeling uncertain how to apply our practice in these times.
Metta (loving kindness) is always a correct response that opens us to being able to give healing energy to the world. Be part of this summer offering to get together online, practice, and support each other. The purpose is to talk about what’s in our hearts and cultivate new (and old) metta practices for our daily lives.
Each gathering we will sit together, check in and share how life is going, and have a short presentation and exercises around love and kindness. This is also an opportunity to take a close look at the metta sutta.
This is intended to be a smaller circle, so please do not register for this unless you can attend most weeks. If enough are interested, we’ll open a second afternoon session. As of July 23, both sections are full.
TIME: Tuesday evenings, 7:00 – 8:30 pm (full), 1:00-2:30 (full)
DATES: August 4, 11, 18, 25.
