2020/05 – Sitting at the Edge

It can be useful to ask oneself ‘What’s at the edge of my practice?‘ By that is meant looking at one’s inner and outer experience, asking oneself what is present in the heart/mind and body in this week, this day, this hour, this moment. There may be pain or pleasure, confusion or ease, joy or sadness. The practice of Mindfulness accepts it all and leads us to look deeply and carefully, without judgment.

This is a circle gathering virtually over the next weeks in support of this practice. We will begin by sitting together in silence, then have the opportunity to share and to listen. We will learn from each other as spiritual friends.

We ask you to register for this sitting. We will be gathering over Zoom, and will send you the link for each meeting via email. There is no fee for the gathering but donations to Insight Meditation Ann Arbor are welcome through the website. If there are questions, you may email Ann at bardena@umich.edu
