Introduction to Insight Meditation – in person class

Interested in finding out what insight (vipassana) practice is, or in refreshing your understanding of insight practice instruction? This two hour workshop covers beginning instructions, mindfulness practice, and time to ask questions and share your experience.

Great for those interested in learning meditation as well as a review of instructions for continuing students.

COVID SAFETY: We’ll be meeting in the “Gathering” room at Zion Lutheran, which is large and is well ventilated with windows on three sides, where we can safely meet. Be prepared to follow CDC guidelines current for that week.

  • LOCATION: Zion Lutheran Church, 1501 W. Liberty, Ann Arbor, MI 48103. Please park at rear parking lot, use rear door and up the stairs to ” The Gathering” room on the second floor.

This class is offered on a donation basis. The suggested donation is $25, you can choose the amount you wish to contribute.

During the registration process an opportunity will be offered to make a donation that is shared between the teacher and Insight Meditation Ann Arbor.

In the Buddhist tradition, the heart practice of generosity is central to the path of practice. The teachings are offered freely as an act of generosity. In return, an opportunity to return generosity is available to those who receive the teachings.
