ONLINE RETREAT: July 29-30 – Mindfulness for Cultivation of Compassion and Wisdom

During this non-residential online retreat, we will deepen our understanding of mindfulness, compassion and wisdom teachings of the Buddha to connect with our hearts. We live in times of great instability, loss, trauma, stress and a potential “mental health pandemic.” This is an opportunity to strengthen our capacity to calm the body, heart and mind to be responsive. The retreat session will include silent meditation, dharma talks, heaInsight teacher Nolitha Tsengiwe, smiling and wearing an orange shirtrt practices, and community discussions.

Nolitha Tsengiwe is a meditation teacher trained by Insight Meditation Society (IMS), a teacher for Cloud Sangha and Dharmagiri Meditation Center, and mentor for Sounds True MMTCP. She has practiced under Kittisaro and Thanissara (disciples of Ajahn Chah) for more than 20 years. Nolitha is a psychologist, executive coach and leadership development consultant. She has a trauma sensitive lens in supporting clients who are in search of truth as a doorway to healing, well-being and freedom.
