IN PERSON RETREAT: October 14-16, 2022 – Presence

A retreat is a time to both “take a break” from your normal daily activities and also be able to take a closer look at your life and practice. Please join us for the Fall retreat at Columbiere Retreat Center in Clarkston.
The theme of this retreat is presence. Being present in each moment as a doorway to the spacious awareness that is us. The retreat will be a combination of silent sittings and led sittings with some time for questions and personal exploration. It is aimed at experienced meditators but beginners may join with permission of the teacher.

The retreat will be led by Lou Weir, a resident teacher at Insight Meditation Ann Arbor. Lou has been teaching Vipassana meditation for over 15 years and is also a trained teacher in the Diamond Approach tradition.

There is a donation for the cost of room and board during the registration process. The suggested donation (actual cost) for room and board is $290 for a double, and $330 for a single. Each person may pay what they like and no one will be turned away due to lack of funds.

This does not include support the teacher. Traditionally,  there will be an opportunity at the retreat itself to offer a donation for the teacher and the teachings.
