Cultivating Awareness and Understanding; February 25-26, 2022

This non-residential online weekend retreat will emphasize a gentle continuity of mindfulness in daily life. Through continuous mindful awareness accompanied by discernment, we can come to understand more clearly the causes that lead to wellbeing, and those that lead to distress. This practice period will also emphasize the inter-related practices of ethical conduct, stability of awareness, and the development of wisdom.

Vance Pryor has practiced Insight Meditation since 1999 in both the United States and Myanmar. He has been influenced by the teachings of Sayadaw U Pandita, Sayadaw U Tejaniya, Steve Armstrong and Kamala Masters. He is a recent graduate of Insight Meditation Society’s 2017-2021 Teacher Training Program.
