Practice Intensive Week 2021

We’ve often pondered how we could better bring the deep mindfulness of a retreat experience more fully into our daily lives. Here’s a wonderful opportunity for a retreat without walls; a week long practice intensive to start off the new year.  The intensive will involve a commitment of each morning with an online group practice, a focus on mindfulness and other practices throughout the day with the option to either journal or check in daily with a partner and sitting on your own in the evening.

The intensive kicks off Sunday, January 3rd, at 7 PM with a sitting and overview for the week.  Each person will make a commitment to come and sit together every morning online from 6:30 AM – 7:15 AM Monday through Friday.  The sitting will be followed by short daily instructions relating to a mindfulness focus during the day.  The last meeting will be held Saturday morning from 7:30 AM – 8:30 AM, ending with sharing our experiences.

Our orientation will be to more fully bring our practice into our daily lives.  We’re looking to cultivate a retreat like atmosphere during the week, “retreating” without leaving our jobs or routines.
