2020/09 – Living the Four Noble Truths

This series of classes will be exploring and actively practicing with the ‘work’ of these Noble Truths. We may be familiar with this teaching as the very first the Buddha shared. In this series, we want to move deeply from the concepts in the teaching to the tasks that we undertake to bring them into our lives and the lives of others.
This is suitable for all levels of experience with meditation beyond basic instruction. There will be some teaching, an opportunity to share from one’s own practice, and some silent meditation.

In the Buddhist tradition there is a practice called Dana – a heart practice of generosity. The teachings are offered freely as an act of generosity. In return, an opportunity to practice generosity is opened to those who receive the teachings.
