2018/09 – Sitting at the Edge

It can be useful to ask oneself What’s at the edge of my practice?. By that is meant looking at one’s inner experience and asking oneself what is present in the heart/mind in this week, this day, this hour, this moment. That may be pain or pleasure, confusion or ease, joy or sadness. The practice of Mindfulness accepts it all and leads us to look deeply and carefully, without judgment.

The gathering of this circle over the next few weeks is in support of this practice. We will sit together in silence, then have an opportunity to share and to listen. We will learn from each other as spiritual friends.

This circle will be led by Ann Barden and is meant for those with some meditation experience and a commitment to daily practice. There will not be beginning instruction but some guidance may be offered from time to time.
