Resident teacher Terry Gliedt
I started on this path when my wife Mary said, “There’s this Rec ‘n Ed class on meditation. I think we should take it. It’ll be good for you.”
“Oh great, something else that’s good for me,” I thought. “How bad can it be? In a few weeks I can get back to my busy life.”
In that first class I experienced peace that I’d not found before. I kept coming back to classes and now it’s over ten years later and I’ve not made it back to my old life – thank goodness!
I continue meditating because it makes a difference in my life. Initially I was barely aware of the change, but my wife, Mary, and others reported to me that I seemed calmer, more peaceful and I concluded there must be something to this meditation stuff.
The following materials are from some events I've been part of.
